“If you want a bed for a night and don’t want anything super fancy in the area, choose here. The owner was friendly, the bed was comfortable. You really can’t argue for the price. Loved it, I would definitely stay again next time I’m visiting friends in Mansfield.”

“Pictures don’t do it justice, beautiful property, lovely location, we had a great stay”

It was also a real pleasure to find the Pleasley Mill was having an open day on the Sunday - the chimney can be seen in the distance from the property. These were some of the many places to visit in the locality. The property provided easy access to Alfreton station. “Comfortable and quiet. Very erractic wifi meant no on demand TV”

“We stayed at Woodend Bungalow and loved every minute of being there .. kids enjoyed games room and open fields at the back. The house is equipped with everything for a very comfortable stay for 10 people .. tesco and co op are 3 mins drive away .. there was milk in the fridge left by the host alongwith home made cake and tea and coffee .. there was damp smell in the games room but it was bearable.. the games room had everything to keep teenage children occupied for hours .. kids dint touch their……

“Everything was as promised and it was an enjoyable stay. Wifi needs serious attention.”

Went in the gym, water dispenser broken, TV remote didn't work, 1 treadmill broken 1 working, cross trainer broken otherwise ok The suite I booked wasn't a suite it was a cottage away from the hall and facilities didn't really feel part of it. facilities were ok and very spacious but I would have taken a normal room in the hall if I'd known I'd say 3* was enough for……

“Great!”

“Overall i lovely experience. Breakfast staff seemed very busy maybe not enough staff. I ordered vegetarian sausages and it took just over 30 mins to arrive. Unfortunately i could not finish it because I had a cab to get. I asked for a hot chocolate which the machine did nit provide but one was made up for us. Overall pleasant service.”
